Job summary

BCA, the UK's largest B2B used vehicle service, is seeking a Financial Controller on a fixed-term contract to February 2028. The role is hybrid with 2-3 days in the Blackbushe office, covering month-end close, reporting, and ERP transformation.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, lead a small team, and manage cash flow and compliance. Ideal candidates are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong ERP experience and a proactive, performance-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Financial Controller or similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems/ERPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end finance processes and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and submissions.
• Lead on ERP implementation and finance transformation.
• Coach and develop finance team while maintaining BAU.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support external audits and cash flow management.
