MERJE is partnering with a newly established FCA-regulated consumer finance business in London to appoint a Financial Controller. This hands-on role reports to the CEO and is responsible for building a robust finance function, overseeing monthly management accounts, controls, and the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics.

The ideal candidate holds ACA/ACCA/CIMA, has post-qualified financial services experience, and can operate autonomously with senior stakeholders, while shaping finance processes

Formación

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Significant post-qualified financial services experience.
• Experience operating in an FCA-regulated environment.
• Experience implementing or developing an ERP/finance system; Microsoft Dynamics would be highly advantageous.
• Ideally experience within a start-up, scale-up or newly established business.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly management accounts, financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Oversee P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and financial controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, modelling and KPI reporting.
• Support FCA and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Establish strong controls around cash, payments and balance-sheet integrity.
• Manage audit, tax and external adviser relationships.
• Support the implementation and development of Microsoft Dynamics.
• Improve finance processes, automation and management information.
• Work closely with the CEO, senior management, Risk, Compliance and international stakeholders.
