Our client is a highly respected financial services organisation (Mortgage & Savings). Due to a restructure, they are recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a 6-month period. The role requires immediate availability and travel to their Head Office in the East Midlands on Mondays and Tuesdays, with Wed-Fri working from home. A handover period will be provided.
The Financial Controller will manage a team of 4 (including 2 direct reports) and oversee financial operations including treasury back office, accounts payable, payments, and reconciliations. The role involves evaluating financial risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and managing tax matters supported by third parties.
