A highly respected financial services organization in the UK is seeking an Interim Financial Controller. This role involves overseeing financial operations, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements during a six-month contract. Our client is a highly respected financial services organisation (Mortgage & Savings) and owing to a restructure, are recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller whilst they recruit on a Permanent basis. You must be immediately available for a 6m period, and able to travel to their Head Office in the East Midlands on Mondays and Tuesdays- Wed-Fri working from home. There will be a handover period.
Managing a team of 4 (2 direct reports), the core purpose of the role is to oversee the Financial Operations of the business (incl. treasury back office, accounts payable, payments and reconciliations) as well as evaluating and managing financial risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, completion of financial statements, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information, including tax (supported by third party).
