Job summary

hireful is seeking a Financial Controller to own financial reporting, controls, cash flow, and compliance for a Private Equity-backed technology group in Manchester. The role reports to the Finance Director and leads a talented team, with hybrid working in place and a clear path to influence business strategy.

You’ll drive process improvements, champion AI and automation, support acquisitions, and play a pivotal role in scaling finance operations across the group.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA accountant with proven leadership experience in a Finance role.
• Experience leading financial reporting, controls, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong track record in process improvement and driving transformation through automation.

Experience in acquisition integration, business transformation and fast-paced environments is highly desirable.

Exposure to private equity, technology, SaaS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Power BI would be advantageous.
