Job summary

Hireful Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Finance leader to take ownership of financial reporting, controls, cash flow and compliance within a rapidly growing, private equity-backed tech group, driving finance transformation and AI-enabled automation.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a high-performing team, support acquisitions, scale operations and develop strategic metrics in a collaborative, people-focused culture with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
• Experience as Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager.
• Experience with acquisitions, business transformation and PE exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, controls, cash flow and compliance while managing a team.
• Drive process improvement, champion AI and automation.
• Support acquisitions and scaling of the Group’s finance operations.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director to influence business strategy.

Job description

Ready to take ownership of Finance for a Private Equity-Backed organisation? The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and will lead financial reporting, controls, cash flow and compliance while managing a talented team. You’ll drive process improvement, champion AI and automation, support acquisitions and play a pivotal role in scaling the Group’s finance operations.

Location: Manchester – Hybrid working is in place

About you…

We’re looking for a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager experience, strong technical expertise and proven leadership skills. Experience in acquisition integration, business transformation and fast-paced environments is highly desirable. Exposure to private equity, technology, SaaS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Power BI would be advantageous.
