ICAEW is seeking a Financial Controller to lead a collaborative finance team, reporting to the CFO, and to manage financial operations, reporting, and controls within a values-led organisation.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, experience in education, charity or not-for-profit sectors, strong people management, and excellent financial reporting and Excel/finance systems knowledge. Hybrid working with some office presence.

We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a collaborative finance team, reporting directly to the CFO and taking responsibility for financial operations, reporting, controls and team leadership.
You must have:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
• Education, charity or not-for-profit sector experience
• Strong people management experience
• Excellent financial and management reporting skills
• Strong controls, compliance and analytical capability
• Excellent Excel and finance systems knowledge
• The confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels

Working pattern: Predominantly office based, with up to 2 days working from home per week maximum.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a values-led organisation while leading and developing an established finance team.
