Are you a dynamic and experienced finance professional looking for a leadership role in a growing business? My client is seeking a Financial Controller to take full responsibility for their finance function, working five days a week in their Warwickshire office.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will lead the finance function, ensuring the efficient management of financial operations and providing strategic insight to support business growth. Key responsibilities include:
Management Accounts - Overseeing the production of timely and accurate management accounts.
Year-End Accounts & Audit - Ensuring smooth year-end processes and liaising with external auditors.
Budgeting & Forecasting - Leading the budgeting process and delivering accurate financial forecasts.
Business Partnering - Working closely with operational colleagues to provide financial insight and drive commercial success.
Continuous Improvement - Identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and efficiencies.
People Management - Leading and developing the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and driven finance professional who:
Is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Has proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
Possesses a continuous improvement mindset, proactively identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with non-financial colleagues.
What's on Offer?
Salary up to £75,000 (dependent on experience).
