Job Description:

Equifind is working with a real estate developer and asset manager based in London’s Battersea to hire a Financial Controller.

With a global portfolio covering logistics, retail, office, and industrial assets, the firm has a proven track record of delivering market-leading returns. As they embark on a new partnership, they’re looking to bring in a senior finance lead to support the CFO with the firm’s continued growth, and help implement institutional-grade reporting and analysis.

What will I be doing?

• Oversee the finance team, including reviewing work, hiring, training, and development
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including consolidation of overseas entities
• Review and analyse the Group’s financial results, balance sheet, and cash flow, providing detailed commentary for consolidated reporting
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in line with group timelines
• Drive a major project to implement a new general ledger system – covering design, testing, and rollout
• Manage the Group’s audit process from end to end

What do I need to apply?

• Qualified accountant (preferably audit trained)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent report writing and able to confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of UK GAAP
• Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills
