Associate Director (Accountancy & Finance), Morgan McKinley

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a global Engineering Consultancy based in Bath, to recruit a Financial Controller.

The Role

This is a key role for my client which will partner closely with senior internal stakeholders and be responsible for leading and developing a high performing finance team whilst focusing on UK projects.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Leading and developing the finance function, and providing monthly management and project information and relevant reporting
• Consolidation of financial reporting across the UK region
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders, and providing financial commercial decision support
• Consolidation of budgets and forecasts, preparing and delivering board reports and monitoring internal controls
• Management of commercial risk, drive strategy and continuous improvement of systems and processes

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will be a passionate and highly motivated Qualified Accountant with a track record of successfully leading teams within a highly commercial environment.

Project accounting experience is essential, and you will also have experience of working in either the Consulting Engineering or Construction industry with experience of multi-disciplinary projects such as highways, structure etc.
