Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy in Banbridge invites applications for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function and partner with the Finance Director. The role focuses on month-end consolidation, governance and strategic financial reporting within a growing NI business.

The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting and system improvements while coaching a finance team and working closely with key stakeholders in the business.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Proven senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, driving a high-performance culture.
• Own the review, consolidation and delivery of monthly management accounts packs.
• Lead budgeting & forecasting processes.
• Business partner with key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Oversee financial governance, internal controls, statutory accounts, VAT and tax compliance.
• Support finance systems development and drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiency.

Financial Controller - Banbridge

The Company:

Our client is a successful and growing organisation with an established presence in Northern Ireland. As part of continued growth and development, they are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in financial reporting, governance and business performance.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take a senior leadership position, lead a finance team and contribute to the continued development of the wider business.

The Rewards:

As the successful Financial Controller, you will receive:

• £65,000-£80,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
• Office based with early finish Friday;

The Role:
