Job description

Money stress is the biggest productivity killer in the workplace - My Money Matters exists to change that. We're building an app that improves employees' finances automatically every pay day - giving them financial tools that directly improve their financial health with less effort.

Every pay day is an opportunity to build better money habits. We make it easy. Employees can accelerate retirement savings with tax-efficient pension top-ups, build a safety net effortlessly with auto savings, or access their already-earned salary ahead of pay day for emergencies.

For employers, fewer employees with money worries means more focus on work. We're trusted by major organisations including the NHS, and we're growing fast.

The role

You will be the face of My Money Matters’ education for our members, helping them make the most of their salary. You’ll cover topics from budgeting to retirement planning both online (1:1s, webinars, short form) and offline (wellness days, workshops).

You will be a valuable and vocal contributor to the shape of our guidance. Working alongside the content team, you’ll take part in regular brainstorms, giving your input as the subject matter expert.

We are pioneering a modern approach to content and engagement. No reams of generic advice about every topic under the sun. Instead, we make actionable, contextual guidance delivered only when it’s needed - supported by Max, our AI coach. You’ll be a key part of driving forward a coaching function that contributes to improving the financial outcomes of our members.

In a typical week you might cover:

  • A handful of online 1:1 meetings - covering topics like debt or pensions
  • An on-site pension workshop - a two-hour session prepping employees for retirement
  • Brainstorming session - coming up with the next big content idea with the whole team
  • Presenting on camera - working with our content team to script and film short-form

On sites are key to our education, you can expect travel to be part of the role, expenses covered.

The right person

If this sounds like you, we’d love to chat:

  • A great presenter - bright, positive, knowledgeable and engaging across a range of topics
  • Qualified or experienced - you hold, or are working towards, a financial qualification, or have relevant workplace experience
  • Customer-oriented - you get satisfaction from helping people achieve financial goals
  • Enthused by new ideas - you’re excited to build a modern approach to financial guidance
  • Resilient - as upbeat and engaging in the tenth session of the day as the first
  • Tech‑savvy - interested in AI to help build Max, our friendly AI coach and colleague
