POSITION SUMMARY:

At the Rainforest Alliance, we are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. The analyst will support financial management and advanced financial modeling across RA’s departments. They will collaborate with the FP&A team to monitor, analyze, forecast, and report the financial performance of department programs and projects. This role contributes to organizational productivity and impact through financial data that helps prioritize and support effective decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct research, generate reports, and interpret financial information for informed decision-making;
• Assist in updating complex financial models to support accurate forecasting of revenue, expenses, and liquidity;
• Support field teams during the start-up or close-out of initiatives, grants, or projects, addressing finance-related challenges;
• Ensure compliance with finance processes, policies, and procedures across country offices;
• Act as the primary contact for coding reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy and recommending policy improvements;
• Send monthly reminders for timecard submissions to ensure timely expense reporting;
• Manage new employee coding processes in NetSuite and ensure data alignment with Adaptive for forecasting;
• Collaborate with HR to validate personnel data against the finance forecast database;
• Review invoices in Concur for accuracy in coding and requested amounts;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of related experience; equivalent combinations considered;
• Experience in customer service and cross-departmental collaboration;
• Ability to communicate technical and accounting information effectively to diverse audiences;
• Knowledge of non-profit fundraising and accounting principles preferred;
• Experience with NetSuite integrations, Salesforce, Workday, and Concur preferred;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Experience with multi-subsidiary, multi-currency global organizations (NetSuite Oneworld preferred).

• National Range (excluding NY and DC): $53,029 - $75,755
• New York Range: $63,004 - $90,006
• Washington DC Range: $60,983 - $87,118
