IFC’s Treasury Client Solutions Department is a client-facing transaction-structuring and execution team that provides IFC’s clients with innovative fixed-income solutions. The group has global responsibility for derivative transactions, structured products, local currency solutions, and debt capital markets solutions.

Duties

The department seeks a dynamic and highly motivated finance professional to join the EMEA team covering markets in Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia. The individual will contribute to structuring and executing fixed-income investment projects, provide analytics and market intelligence, and collaborate with industry experts in a vibrant environment. The position is based in London, UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to structuring, pricing, and execution of hedging and funding transactions via derivatives and capital markets instruments.
  • Assist in structuring and executing IFC’s local currency bond issuances by providing analytical and transactional support.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for transaction structuring and pricing, ensuring accuracy.
  • Conduct market research in local and international fixed income markets and analyze rating agency methodologies for risk assessment.
  • Support business development and marketing of treasury products to clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders including banks, investors, and regulators to facilitate transactions.
  • Prepare analytics for investment committees for informed decision-making.
  • Assist with documentation review, portfolio monitoring, and valuation tasks.
  • Participate in global travel as needed for transaction support and stakeholder engagement.
Selection Criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, financial engineering, mathematics, or related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of fixed income derivatives such as cross currency swaps and interest rate swaps.
  • Strong data analysis, credit risk modeling skills, and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Motivated, results-oriented team player with a proactive attitude and collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones in a global team.
