Job summary

Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a well established international manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Analyst. The role sits between FP&A and finance systems, delivering analysis, forecasting and reporting that supports strategic decision making.

You will support budgeting, build financial models and develop Power BI and NetSuite reporting, with scope to automate processes and drive finance transformation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA part qualified, finalist or newly qualified.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Power BI skills, with strong DAX and data modelling.
• Experience with relational databases and large datasets.
• Understanding of data governance and master data management.
• Ability to explain complex data clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Manufacturing/regulatory experience would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long range planning.
• Build financial models to support investment decisions and profitability analysis.
• Analyse monthly performance against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Partner with budget holders to improve financial performance.
• Develop and improve Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Automate reporting and create self-service reporting for departments.
• Maintain the integrity of finance and operational data within NetSuite.
• Build reporting using NetSuite Saved Searches, NSPB and Power BI.
• Work with IT and the wider business on data integration and reporting improvements.
• Improve forecasting accuracy through better data modelling and automation.
• Take part in ERP, BI and finance transformation projects.

We at Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well established international manufacturing business on a newly created role. They are looking for a Finance Analyst to sit between FP&A and finance systems, delivering the analysis, forecasting and reporting that supports decision making across the business.

The Role:

This is a role for someone who enjoys the numbers but gets just as much out of building the reporting behind them. You will support budgeting and forecasting, build financial models and develop the Power BI and NetSuite reporting the finance team relies on.

There is real scope to improve how the business plans and reports. You will automate reporting, create self-service tools for budget holders and get involved in ERP, BI and finance transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

What you will need:

• ACCA or CIMA part qualified, finalist or newly qualified

• Experience working with relational databases and large datasets
• An understanding of data governance and master data management

• Manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated experience would be a bonus
• Exposure to NSPB, Oracle Planning, Hyperion, Anaplan or similar planning tools would be desirable
