About the Role

Morgan McKinley is pleased to be working in collaboration with a fast-paced, consumable goods business to recruit an ambitious financial analyst who can business partner with senior stakeholders across the organization.

They are seeking a highly skilled accountant who can provide support and constructive challenge to drive outputs and improve financial performance.

Responsibilities

1. Build and evolve in-depth costing processes.
2. Provide insights and analysis into performance, identify areas of improvement, and drive outputs.
3. Work in tandem with the commercial teams to prepare budgets and forecasts, along with variance reporting.
4. Own the month-end close.
5. Assess cost drivers and their impact on performance.

Candidate Profile

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or in the final stage of studies.
2. Strong communication skills — able to push back and support stakeholders.
3. High degree of commercial acumen.
4. Strong Excel knowledge.
5. Solid experience in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
6. Results-oriented with a desire to succeed.
