Amberside Advisors - Financial Advisory Transaction Lead

Location: London / Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We support hybrid working, typically expecting our staff to be in the office or with clients 60% of their working week.

Introduction

Following Amberside Advisors' recent partnership with Steer and to support our growth plans, we are seeking an experienced Project / Corporate Finance professional to join our team.

This role offers a significant opportunity for the candidate to leverage their skills within a reputable firm and to contribute to securing new transaction mandates, leading project delivery, and mentoring junior team members.

About The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in winning and delivering financial advisory mandates, including greenfield financings, refinancings, and M&A transactions in infrastructure, renewable energy, and energy transition sectors.

Responsibilities include client screening, drafting Teasers and Information Memorandums, funding competitions, coordinating advisors, and closing debt and equity transactions.

Specific duties include managing complex client engagements, ensuring project quality and profitability, business development, sector knowledge development, mentoring team members, and ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations and deadlines.

Requirements

We look for candidates who are ambitious, passionate about infrastructure and decarbonisation, with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and experience in project finance within relevant sectors. A degree in a related field and experience in leading financial transactions are preferred.
