Financial Accountant, Statutory & Regulatory

Job Description

Tradeweb’s Finance function operates a global team across two locations – New York and London. The department includes over 50 employees overseen by the CFO in New York, with the London team managed by the Managing Director, Head of International Finance.

We are seeking a Statutory & Regulatory Accountant to join our International Finance team. The role involves developing expertise in statutory financial and regulatory reporting processes, supported by external accountants, service providers, and auditors.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory returns for international entities and branches.
2. Coordinate with auditors on requests.
3. Manage statutory ledgers and prepare journal entries.
4. Interpret current and upcoming accounting standards and regulatory rules to ensure IFRS and regulatory compliance.
5. Support finance automation projects related to statutory and regulatory reporting.
6. Assist in variance analysis and board minutes preparation.
7. Collaborate with other teams to explain financial requirements and share knowledge.

Essential Skills / Experience

1. University degree.
