Job summary

Sphere Digital Recruitment is assisting a major Media business in Manchester to recruit a Financial Accountant (projects & transformation) for a 12-month FTC. The role is hands-on and centers on supporting a significant transformation programme within the Record to Report space.

You will work with operational finance teams to standardise processes, embed changes and deliver improvements across the business, with a proactive and collaborative approach. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Strong operational finance experience.
• Ideally RTR experience.
• Experience delivering finance projects or transformations.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant desirable.
• Hands-on with ability to work across different areas of the business.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative attitude.

An exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant (projects & transformation) to join a Finance Continuous Improvement team during a major period of business change for a large well-known Media business.

This is a hands-on finance change role, focused on supporting a significant transformation programme over the next 12 months. Reporting to the RTR Global Process Owner, you'll work across the business to help deliver process improvements and embed change.

• Support finance transformation and change projects, with a focus on Record to Report (RTR).
• Work closely with operational finance teams to improve and implement processes.
• Review and standardise finance processes, process maps and SOPs.
• Support requirements gathering, UAT and implementation activity.
