Impact Food Group is seeking a highly organised Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. You will manage multi-entity UK GAAP reporting, balance sheet integrity and VAT/payroll accounting, while coordinating external audits and statutory returns.

The role requires at least five years in fast-paced finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach within a multi-entity environment. Join us to support our mission across 800k students and 1500+ schools.

Qualifikationen

• ACCA or ACA qualified or finalist, actively progressing towards qualification.
• Minimum five years' relevant finance experience, preferably multi-entity.
• Proven experience handling high volumes of financial transactions.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FR S 102, and statutory reporting.
• Experience in financial reporting, month-end close and reconciliations.
• Payroll accounting, PAYE and National Insurance knowledge.
• Experience coordinating external audits and statutory schedules.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports per UK GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close across entities.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions and fixed assets.
• Take ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations across entities.
• Prepare UK VAT returns and HMRC compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to audit queries.
• Assist in statutory accounts preparation.
• Collaborate with accounts payable, receivable, payroll and operations.
