Goodman Masson is representing a fast-growing, digital-first insurance and reinsurance business recruiting a Financial Accountant. The role covers day-to-day financial control across the Group, including journals, reconciliations and reporting, with exposure to treasury, FX, statutory and regulatory work.

You will work with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to own your area while contributing to finance projects and wider development of the function.

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with 1–3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong financial accounting and financial control experience.
• Experience with journals, reconciliations, general ledger and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of financial controls and accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Responsabilidades

• Managing day-to-day financial control activities across the Group, including journals, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Producing accurate and timely financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and internal and external audit requirements.
• Supporting treasury activities, including cash management and FX risk.
• Maintaining robust books, records and financial controls across the Group.
• Supporting finance systems, process improvements and changes to the Finance infrastructure.
• Working with stakeholders across the business to resolve accounting and financial control matters.
• Supporting due diligence, refinancing and M&A-related activity where required.
