Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is recruiting a Financial Accountant for a Mid Cornwall office. This hands-on role focuses on management accounts, financial reporting and process improvements within a growing property sector business.

The position is initially 6 to 9 months, with potential extension or permanency, and both full-time and part-time applications are welcome. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own monthly management accounts, VAT returns, payroll oversight and supplier

Competenze

• AAT Level 4 qualified, or equivalent experience, with a solid background in finance and accounts.
• Around five years’ relevant experience would be beneficial, particularly in managing accounts and reporting.

Mansioni

• Own monthly management accounts, including commentary and KPIs.
• Prepare VAT returns and oversee monthly payroll.
• Manage supplier and property owner payments.
• Review costs and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Improve financial reporting, spreadsheets and processes.
• Support the Head of Finance with projects and wider business improvements.
