What You’ll Do

As part of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Your responsibilities will include managing and reconciling financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret financial data. You will be a key link between various departments, and you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to the fast‑paced world of medical technology and healthcare.

Enovis GB supplies surgical orthopaedic implants and instruments to the NHS and Private Hospitals.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your keen attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in providing strategic insights to drive informed decision‑making.

Financial Accounting
  • Be a key member of the team working to close financial periods Working Day +1
  • Preparation, review and posting of accounting journals
  • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist and supervise AR and AP team members in day‑to‑day financial accounting activities for the business unit, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Forecasting
  • Assisting Finance Director with monthly financial forecasts
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow forecast
VAT
  • VAT reporting for Enovis UK and Enovis Ireland
Business Partnering with commercial team
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses to support business decision‑making.
  • Work with FD and Commercial team to utilise and develop Power BI tools to improve sales reporting and to maximise the impact of sales incentive bonus scheme.
Team working
  • Work with closely with Finance Director, Accounts Payable Executive and Credit controller to ensure finance department goals and objectives are met
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Operations)
Compliance and Audit
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Work towards SOX compliance (this business unit became in scope for SOX controls after Enovis acquisition end 2023)
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within finance functions. Enovis is committed to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement changes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
What we need:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial accounting.
  • Experience in a SOX business advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software, and Microsoft Excel. JDE experience advantageous
