Job summary

HRC Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established employer in the Glasgow area to appoint experienced Qualified Accountants on a six‑month contract with hybrid working and free parking. Immediate starts available, with exposure to statutory reporting, VAT and audit in a dynamic finance team.

Candidates must be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CIMA) and available at short notice. Sponsorship is not offered; unrestricted right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CIMA credentials.
• Experience in statutory reporting, VAT, tax, audit or compliance.
• Ability to work in a collaborative finance team and add value quickly.

Responsibilities

• Handle statutory reporting, financial accounting and VAT tasks.
• Assist with audit and compliance activities.
• Support the finance team in day-to-day accounting duties and month-end close.
