Job summary

IFF Talent - Ingham Frankland Fide is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant in North Yorkshire to maintain posting of invoices, perform reconciliations, and drive timely month-end closes. The role offers a six to nine month assignment with a mix of three days on site and two remote, as transformation continues.

You will gain hands-on experience testing a new SAP S/4HANA platform, with exposure to GL, reconciliations, fixed assets and customer accounting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in GL, reconciliations and month-end
• Comfortable with Excel and ERP systems
• SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus, not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Post invoices and ensure postings are accurate in the ERP
• Balance reconciliations and support month-end closes
• Assist with system switchovers and data integrity checks

Somewhere in North Yorkshire, this finance team is going through a major transformation and modernisation.

A critical part of that is happening right now; among many projects and priorities, one of them is switching systems.

Everyone is watching the new platform. Meanwhile, someone has to make sure the invoices get posted, the reconciliations balance, and the month-end closes on time.

That someone could be you.
