Job Description

We are seeking a Finance professional with 1-3 years of experience within the Manufacturing industry. This role offers hybrid working and is based in Greenford. The candidate should have experience using SAP HANA.

Client Details

This position is a key member of the UK Finance team, working closely with the UK Finance Manager and the wider finance team, as well as the business, to deliver excellence in all UK financial accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with the UK Finance Manager to lead overheads forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting processes.
2. Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on overhead spends to key stakeholders.
3. Drive and support financial initiatives related to overhead projects.
4. Continuously seek and challenge ways to reduce overhead costs.
5. Ensure timely, complete, and accurate supply chain accounting and reporting.
6. Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
7. Collaborate with tax and other finance teams to ensure timely and accurate tax and financial reporting.
8. Work with the Shared Service Center and business stakeholders to ensure adherence to processes and achievement of KPIs related to your responsibilities.
9. Deliver on Internal Audit requirements, finance projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience with SAP or similar systems.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
• Confident communicator.
• Process-driven with a mindset for continuous improvement.
• Ownership-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Flexible to take on various activities as needed.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Retail or FMCG, is advantageous.
