Job summary

Fisher German LLP in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team, based from either our Ashby de la Zouch or Birmingham office. This is more than a traditional FC role, with a focus on leadership, influence and continuous improvement as you guide a team and build strong partnerships across the business.

You will oversee robust financial reporting, cash flow forecasting and working capital management, and drive process improvement during a major ERP

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a finance function.
• Strong financial reporting and technical expertise.
• Experience managing cash flows and working capital.
• Experience implementing or upgrading ERP systems.
• Track record of driving process improvements and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team and payroll functions.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Maintain robust financial controls and accounting standards.
• Manage external audits and relationships with auditors and banks.
• Prepare annual tax computations and liaise with Partnership leaders.
• Drive finance transformation and automation initiatives.
