Job summary

SCC is seeking a Finance Transformation Lead in Birmingham on a permanent basis. The role will drive a focused programme to simplify and standardise finance processes, maximise D365 and related systems, and build capability across the Finance team.

The post is hybrid, with core hours 9:00–17:30, and initially for 12 months post-ERP, with go-live preparation for D365 SCM in 2029. The role requires extensive experience in finance transformation, ERP-enabled change, and strong programme management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering finance transformation or finance systems change.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end reviews of major finance processes to identify inefficiencies and controls gaps.
• Design and implement simplified, standardized future-state processes with clear ownership.
• Develop a prioritised transformation roadmap with deliverables and metrics.
• Ensure processes are documented with ownership and performance measures.
• Embed continuous improvement within the Finance team and drive adoption.
