Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to drive high-impact finance change projects. Based at the Coventry centre, the role supports the Finance Strategy across the business and collaborates with HR, Technology and operations.

The successful candidate will lead projects from concept to benefits realisation, build robust business cases, and govern delivery while embedding change across finance teams. 37 hours per week, 12-month FTC, with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex business change and transformation projects with delivery of sustainable benefits.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies, change management and risk management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience identifying, defining and tracking business benefits.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar situations quickly and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting and insight.
• Lead transformation projects from discovery to implementation.
• Produce robust analyses and business cases with governance throughout delivery.
• Influence and engage stakeholders to drive change and adoption.
• Provide thought leadership on performance, cost management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues and reporting for successful delivery.
• Collaborate with finance teams to track and report benefits.
• Work with sponsors to embed and sustain change.
