The Finance Transformation Leader (FTL) is a high-impact role responsible for the development and execution of the Future Finance transformation programme. This role drives all aspects of finance transformation to ensure successful delivery of value and leads the associated change management processes. The success of the programme depends on this role.

Key Accountabilities:

Visionary Leadership:

Work with the CFO and Finance Leadership Team to define, articulate, and communicate the finance transformation (FT) vision.

Create and champion the FT charter.

Build and deliver the business case for the execution phase of the Future Finance transformation programme

Carry out effective team member performance management, making sure suitable measures are agreed and taken to close any identified gaps in skills or knowledge.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Develop and deliver a stakeholder engagement plan.

Manage key stakeholders to obtain and maintain buy-in and engagement.

Create and manage relevant FT committees.

Coordinate change management and change communications.

Execution:

Identify the value of each FT initiative and take accountability for realising this value.

Drive coordination and alignment with other transformation programmes.

Manage the delivery partner, including milestone delivery, quality, and associated budget.

Secure and maintain the necessary resources to execute a successful transformation.

Establish KPIs and monitor progress of the programme against agreed milestones, seek mitigations for deviation from plan, and communicate with the steering committee regularly.

Create re-prioritisation principles and execute them consistently

Maintain lessons learned and communicate with stakeholders.

Act as a strategic business partner and co-pilot to stakeholders in support of the organisation's wider goals.

  • Experience in leading large-scale transformation programmes.

  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans.

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, MBA, Business/Administration, Technical, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or Management

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CPA, PMI, CSM, MBA, SAP, LEAN, CAPM, ACCA, or PM
