Job summary

Pallas UK is seeking a dedicated Transactional Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Wallingford. You will be responsible for matching invoices, resolving supplier queries, and preparing payments. The role involves bank reconciliations, Excel reporting, and potential sales invoicing.

The ideal candidate will have an AAT qualification (advantageous) and strong IT skills, especially Excel. Flexibility for travel to UK sites and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and goods received.
• Resolve discrepancies and supplier queries.
• Prepare supplier payments for authorisation and processing.
• Reconcile bank accounts (including foreign currency).
• Update Excel-based reconciliation and support packs.
• Carry out sales invoicing and cash allocation activities if necessary.
• Contribute to improvements of processes and systems.
