Job summary

UCAS is seeking a Finance Administrator to deliver high-quality transactional finance support. You will own cashbook management, invoicing, credit control and month-end activities while maintaining strong controls and stakeholder relationships.

The role focuses on end-to-end processes across multiple systems, with a hybrid working model and opportunities for continuous improvement within a charity-led education organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in transactional finance with end-to-end responsibility for cashbook, invoicing and month-end activities.
• Strong IT skills with ERP accounting systems and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, data validation).
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
• Clear communication to non-financial colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience with VAT and its day-to-day application.
• Ability to build cross-department relationships and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cashbook analysis across multiple bank accounts and subsidiaries.
• Ensure online banking access controls and approvals are in place.
• Onboard new customers with proper governance and controls.
• Own monthly invoicing end-to-end, extracting data from connected systems such as Salesforce and events platforms.
