Job summary

A leading retail company in the UK is seeking a Transactions Support candidate to assist in managing the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions. This role involves accurately processing transactions, resolving account queries, and utilizing Sage software. Qualifications

• Strong ability to learn and understand new systems quickly.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day running of Accounts Receivable & Payable.
• Record and allocate payments and receipts across all accounts.
• Register supplier invoices received into company mailbox.
• Investigate and resolve queries relating to supplier and customer accounts.
• Perform regular review of aged debtor and creditor ledgers.
• Ensure accurate setup of accounts on Sage.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding queries and approvals.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Previous experience in a similar role
