Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is expanding its Accounting Technology team and seeks an experienced Accounting Technology Consultant. You will work with clients across sectors to review finance systems, select technology solutions, and deliver successful implementations.

You will lead accounting technology projects, manage multiple client engagements, and collaborate with Accounting, Advisory and BPO teams to deliver value throughout the client lifecycle.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in accounting technology, finance transformation or ERP implementation.
• Proven experience delivering accounting software implementations, ideally iplicit and/or Sage Intacct.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client workshops to understand business requirements and finance processes.
• Lead and support accounting system implementations, including configuration, testing, training and go-live activities.
• Project manage multiple engagements, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate data migration activities and support user acceptance testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and system utilisation.
• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to the development of our Accounting Technology methodologies, solutions and best practices.
