Job summary

Housing Quality Network seeks an experienced Financial Accountant (Team Leader) to guide a small team, coordinate month-end activities and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting. You will work with senior accountants and business partners to ensure strong controls, provide clear financial insights, and contribute to budgeting and stakeholder reporting.

The role is based in Eastleigh with hybrid working options and a friendly finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with leadership experience in finance.
• Experience leading people in a finance team and coordinating month-end processes.
• Strong ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the finance team, coordinating month-end activity and contributing to management accounts and reporting.
• Collaborate with Senior Accountants, Finance Business Partners and the wider Finance team to ensure robust processes and clear financial information.
• Champion strong financial controls, learn and improve how the team works and communicate outcomes clearly.
