Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology seeks a senior leader to shape its Finance Systems transformation and ERP governance during a pivotal divestiture period. You will lead a high-performing team delivering finance systems, governance, and data quality improvements while partnering with finance and business leaders.

You will drive strategy for reporting, analytics and automation using SAP, Power BI, SQL, Python and R, ensuring controls, audit readiness and successful delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Finance Systems or Transformation.
• Extensive SAP experience with finance modules and ERP governance.
• Experience leading Finance Transformation in a multinational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transformation Finance team, providing coaching and talent development.
• Establish Finance IT Controls Framework with governance and audit readiness.
• Own finance systems governance and compliance across processes.
• Act as Finance functional lead for SAP and optimise financial processes.
• Partner with IT, Cyber Security and Internal Audit to ensure compliance.
• Lead workstreams for divestiture, TSA execution, and ERP readiness.
• Drive finance systems strategy, reporting, analytics, and data governance.
• Oversee SAP financial processes and integrations and change management.
• Lead initiatives on digitalisation, automation and continuous improvement using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cloud, Power BI, SQL, Python and R.
• Provide leadership for finance technology projects delivering on time and budget.
• Support Audit activities relating to finance systems and governance.
• Promote Lean, PPI and continuous improvement across finance processes and technology.
