Job Title: Finance Systems Support Manager

My client, a leading international Law Firm, is seeking a Finance Systems Support Manager to oversee their Finance Systems Support team.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Finance Systems Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving the support team, providing high-quality financial systems support, and ensuring effective training and documentation. You will also lead projects and initiatives to enhance service delivery across the global finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and motivate the support team, ensuring excellent customer service.
2. Set objectives, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
3. Coordinate support calls using incident management processes.
4. Guide system setup and support team through logical setup steps.
5. Provide support metrics on volume and quality.
6. Improve month-end processes and ensure compliance with requirements.
7. Manage rotas for tasks and month/year-end activities.
8. Propose and implement service improvements.
9. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Development Teams to scope and roll out changes.
10. Act as a trusted advisor on finance system use and administration, developing user documentation.
11. Design and document service and functional improvements.
12. Build relationships with IT Service Desk to align support processes.
13. Partner with IT Teams to identify system issues and weaknesses.

Key Requirements:

1. Previous managerial experience with ability to lead a team.
2. Experience working with 3e financial systems.
3. Strong understanding of financial information systems.
4. Proven track record of delivering quality customer service and continuous improvement.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proactive and self-motivated.
