Job summary

RD Financial Recruitment Limited is seeking a Finance Systems Migration Accountant in Woking to support a major Sage Intacct implementation across 20+ entities. The role focuses on data migration, testing, and process improvement within a finance transformation project.

You will work with the internal finance team and external migration partner, mapping and cleansing data, and ensuring accurate ledgers for migration readiness. Immediate start for a 1–2 month contract at £325 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience as an accountant with strong Excel and finance systems skills.
• Exposure to accounting system implementation or migration.
• Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and VT.
• Sage Intacct experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support finance systems migration through testing and implementation.
• Map and standardise nominal ledgers and coding structures.
• Data cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Work with Management Accountants and external migration partner.
• Use Excel to analyse and reconcile financial data.
• Assist with system testing and resolve migration issues.
