The University of Birmingham is seeking a Functional Lead for its Core Systems Optimisation Team to own the Finance systems, provide direction, and ensure end-to-end support across processes. You will lead a small team and work with stakeholders and MSP to maximise value from the Finance platforms.

Strong knowledge of Oracle/SAP, experience in complex delivery, and governance capabilities are essential for guiding enhancements and ensuring successful system outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven hand-on experience working with Oracle ERP or SAP.
• Oracle or SAP certification.
• Demonstrable experience of leading or managing a team.
• Experience of working in complex delivery environments with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and continually enhance the University’s Core Systems within CSOT.
• Lead a small team and coordinate with MSP to maximise value from Finance systems.
• Define documentation and governance for SLAs/OLAs, roadmaps, and training materials.
• Drive process improvements and changes across Finance functional areas.
