Job summary

Morgan Law Partners Llp in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Finance Systems Accountant to support the TechnologyOne ERP program, stabilising and developing finance processes across the council's enterprise systems.

The role requires a fully qualified CCAB accountant or progress toward CIPFA/CIMA/ACT, with strong experience in system configuration, data integrity, reporting, and delivering end-to-end finance processes; you will work across Finance, Procurement, HR and IT to maximise value and

Qualifications

• Qualified CCAB or actively studying towards CCAB (preferably CIPFA).
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience drafting policy documentation and procedure notes for finance/ERP systems.
• Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management teams.
• Experience delivering Finance System implementations.

Responsibilities

• Support the ERP finance modules' configuration, maintenance and improvements.
• Act as SME ensuring the system aligns to business requirements and statutory reporting needs.
• Identify and deliver system enhancements, automation opportunities and process efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, HR and IT to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Support end-to-end finance processes (e.g. P2P) within the ERP.
• Provide input into policy changes, ensuring system feasibility and compliance.
• Support ERP development phases including design, testing (SIT/UAT), data migration and go-live.
• Be a point of contact for policy and procedure queries during transition and early BAU operation.
• Ensure effective change control, documentation, and release management processes.
