Job summary

Conveo.ai is building an AI research platform that enables fast, affordable consumer and B2B research. As Finance & Strategy Associate, you’ll act as the operator and guardian of Conveo’s financials, partnering with founders to drive capital decisions, budgeting, and strategic planning across US, UK, and BE entities.

You’ll start by building the finance function, reporting to the CFO, with potential to expand into broader strategy and GTM initiatives as the company scales through Series B and

Qualifications

• 1–4 years experience in investment banking, consulting, PE/VC, or a high-growth startup
• Mastery of three-statement modelling and scenario analysis
• Strong analytical and communication skills — able to translate numbers into decisions for non-finance stakeholders
• Unmatched interest in high-growth startups
• Strong SaaS metrics understanding: ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, burn multiple
• Familiarity with accounting
• Ability to start in August, the earlier the better
• Willingness to work in UK or BE
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise the financial systems, processes and internal controls as the company scales
• Manage cash burn, liquidity, real-time clarity for investors and leadership
• Oversee A/R & A/P, compliance, transfer pricing, VAT, and budgeting setup
• Build financial models, hiring plan, scenario analyses and KPI tracking
• Coordinate with accountants across US, UK and BE for close and consolidation
• Own investor and board reporting and support future fundraising
• Lead finance operations including ESOP, pricing, deal economics, and capital allocation
• Prepare Series B funding, subsidies and financial due diligence
• Research markets and competitors to sharpen strategy
• Provide sales enablement data and materials to support revenue growth
