Job summary

Starling Bank is seeking a Finance Risk and Control Specialist/Manager for a 6 month fixed-term contract in London. The role focuses on controlling testing, guidance to the finance testing team, and ensuring high-quality compliance across key finance processes.

You will lead testing with hands-on involvement as needed, and bring experience in regulatory environments, internal controls, and audits. This position supports a culture of accountability within a fast-moving fintech bank.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regulated environment, banking preferred.
• Strong background in internal controls, risk management, internal/external audit.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee control testing plan across Finance processes.
• Provide guidance and training to Finance testers.
• Review testing results for operating effectiveness and document evidence.
