Job summary

RBC in London is recruiting for a fixed-term 12-month Analyst in Operational Risk and Management Reporting. You will deliver high-quality reporting, enable management to join the dots, and standardise cross-product reporting under a shared services model.

The role requires strong risk management knowledge, experience with control assessments, and proficiency with AI-enabled testing. You will partner with senior leaders to drive consistency, efficiency and clear governance across Wealth

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of risk management practices and control assessment.
• Exceptional skills in documenting controls and integrating them into the broader Operational Risk framework.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting complex control assessments.
• Demonstrable experience in working with and implementing AI technologies.
• Comfortable engaging with senior management, and clearly communicating points of view.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strengthening the Wealth Management Europe control environment and annual assessments.
• Support control assessment planning with a data‑driven approach.
• Develop innovative testing using analytical tools and AI.
• Ensure controls documentation meets assessment standards and closes gaps.
• Communicate results to stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead continuous improvement to deliver only key data and metrics.
• Benchmark practices and promote standardised reporting.
• Provide thought leadership to drive best-in-class reporting.
