Job summary

Giacom is seeking a detail-focused Finance Assistant (Quality Control) on a 12-month fixed term contract in the UK. You will validate commissionable assets, contract data and supporting documentation, acting as a key checkpoint before payment processing.

You’ll collaborate across teams to resolve data issues, maintain audit trails and support governance, controls and data quality initiatives throughout the remediation programme.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and managing incoming requests through the Quality Control shared mailbox.
• Validating network confirmations, contracts, approvals and supporting documentation.
• Creating, updating and maintaining asset records and customer information.
• Reviewing contract details, tariff information and funding arrangements to ensure accuracy.
• Identifying discrepancies, missing information or conflicting data and working with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Supporting commission and funding processes by preparing clear handovers for Commissions Payable.
• Updating job statuses, notes and supporting records to maintain accurate audit trails.
• Liaising with Sales, Service Delivery, Partner Managers, Revenue Assurance, network providers and other stakeholders to obtain required information.
• Supporting investigations into system, process or data-related issues.
• Ensuring all actions, decisions and approvals are fully documented and compliant with internal controls.
