Job summary

MediaTek seeks a Finance Project Manager to oversee financial operations across EU regions and Egypt, including general accounting, reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, auditing, and internal controls across multiple entities.

You will manage monthly closings, collaborate with auditors, and drive cross-functional finance initiatives using SAP and ERP systems in a fast-paced global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required or equivalent.
• Experience in managing complex financial operations and projects.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle of general accounting (AP, reimbursement, procurement, fixed assets, payments).
• Perform monthly/quarterly closings and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Prepare statutory tax filings and liaise with auditors.
• Deliver financial reporting packages and OPEX analyses.
• Develop and implement accounting process improvements and internal controls.

Job description

As a Finance Project Manager, you will be responsible for financial operation of multi entities in EU region & Egypt. This pivotal role encompasses managing financial reporting, budget planning, tax compliance, auditing, and internal controls. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, global setting, ensuring seamless financial processes and compliance across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations & General Accounting

a) Be responsible for full cycle of general accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, employee reimbursement, procurement cycle, fixed asset management and payment processing through ERP system.

b) Perform monthly/quarterly closing and reporting activities. Be able to reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain reconciliation with audit ready documentations.

2. Tax & Audit Compliance

a)Prepare, review, and submit statutory tax filings for the respective regions in strict adherence to local laws and regulations.

b)Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external auditors. Provide necessary documentation, explanations, and support to ensure smooth audit processes and tax compliance assurance.

3. Prepare financial reporting package, OPEX analysis and various management review reports.

4. Develop and implement process enhancement of accounting policies & procedures to ensure compliance of internal control. Coordinate global projects roll-out and implementation of user training.

Skills and Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experienced in Finance/Accounting with a proven track record of managing complex financial operations/projects.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. SAP preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to collaborate with cross function teams globally.
