Job summary

Investigo is supporting a large, established organisation in Manchester, seeking a Finance Process & Controls Manager on a 12‑month FTC. The role blends leadership, financial control, process ownership and continuous improvement within a busy finance function.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with strong control and reporting experience and a proactive, hands-on approach to drive improvements across multiple business areas.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong financial control and reporting experience.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a small finance team
• Overseeing key month-end and financial reporting activities
• Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures
• Managing accounting processes across multiple business areas
• Supporting audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve, simplify and automate processes
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
• Helping the team navigate ongoing change and transformation initiatives
