Job summary

ICAEW in Central London seeks a Finance Manager / Practice Manager with 5+ years in a similar role. You will split responsibilities 70/30 between finance and practice management, preparing internal accounts, management reports and improving firm systems.

The role focuses on governance, client service, staff efficiency and process improvements within a growing, profitable accountancy practice. ACA qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Finance Manager or Practice Manager in an accountancy environment.
• Xero and CCH experience are advantageous; training provided.
• ACA qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal accounts for the practice and monthly management accounts with analysis.
• Handle budgeting, quarterly VAT returns and debt management.
• Manage WIPs and ensure compliance with the firm's policies and regulations.
• Oversee insurance renewals and professional indemnity requirements.
• Aim for high standards of client service and operational efficiency.
