Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Placement Student in Project Accounting to join our Finance team at the Craigavon headquarters. You will support the project accounting reporting capability for the Almac Clinical Services unit, collaborating with Business Projects and Accounting & Finance teams to deliver timely monthly financial reporting and forecasting on capital projects of significant value.

The role includes maintaining the Company's fixed asset and Capex registers, assisting in finance analysis

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK or valid UK work permit
• A Level Mathematics (A*-B) or equivalent
• Currently studying a numerate degree with 2 years completed
• Knowledge of accounting principles and reporting norms
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Maintain project accounting reporting for the Clinical Services unit
• Deliver timely monthly financial reporting and forecasting on capital projects
• Maintain Fixed Asset and Capex register
• Assist in finance analysis reports as required
• Work to strict reporting deadlines
