Job summary

Pfizer Walton Oaks is offering a 12-month Finance Undergraduate placement starting 1st September 2027 for students completing a UK degree. You will join the Decision Support Centre of Excellence and support reporting, planning and data analytics in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities include preparing management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, data collection, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Completing a university degree as part of a placement year (year-in-industry/gap year).
• Strong mathematical ability and numerical literacy.
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate Financial Management Reports for senior management.
• Support Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting with variance/KPI reporting.
• Collect data from Pfizer systems and external sources as required.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on variances and assist with ad-hoc investigations.
• Collaborate across DS CoE Finance sub-teams and use various financial tools.
