Job summary

Pfizer UK invites undergraduates to join the Finance Decision Support Centre of Excellence for a 12-month placement starting 1 September 2027, with an earlier handover from 12 July 2027. Based at Walton Oaks, Surrey, you will support financial management reporting, planning, forecasting and analytics.

You will gain exposure to cross-country stakeholders, Robotic Process Automation and dashboard tools while developing strong Excel and presentation skills within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Completing placement as part of University Degree either through Year In Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year
• AI literate
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong Maths and English skills
• Self-assurance to liaise with Pfizer personnel at all levels
• Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas
• Enthusiastic and pro‑active approach
• IT literacy (Microsoft Excel is essential)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate Financial Management Reports including high-visibility revenue and P&L reports
• Assist in Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting with variance/KPI reporting
• Collect data from Pfizer systems and external sources as required
• Conduct root cause analyses of variances and document findings
• Collaborate with DS CoE Finance sub-teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Support ad-hoc investigations and analytical reporting
• Leverage Pfizer financial systems and tools, including RPA and dashboards
• Participate in team-based projects within the DS CoE Finance Team
